When selecting a pram, it can all become too confusing – with so many brands and so many features- how will you pick which pram is right for you and your new baby?
Most prams should comply with the Australian Standard for safety, but statistically the most amount of childhood accidents and serious injuries are pram or stroller related, so ensure you’re comfortable with the following pram safety features before purchasing that perfect product:
- Brakes – At ABC Baby Warehouse we’re taking extra precautions by stocking all prams and strollers with red brakes. As of July 1st new laws are being put in place to ensure all stores keep up with these regulations, but we have taken the first step in ensuring all products sold in our warehouse are fitted with safety in mind.
- Restraint Harness – We all know that babies can get restless, but that doesn’t mean their safety should be compromised. Keep your baby safe with different levels of safety harnesses to suit your child’s growing needs.
- Steering and Stability – Make sure the handles are adjustable and have a firm grip to allow complete control while walking.
- Carry Baskets – Shopping doesn’t have to be a hassle and hanging shopping bags off prams can tip the strongest pram over in an instant. So make sure when your buying that stroller or pram you select one with carry baskets under the seat, as well as bottle holders and bag holders at the handle.
- Reclining options – Move from upright to fold-down with ease and comfort, with our range of prams and strollers that slowly rock baby to sleep, with new rustproof material
All our prams and strollers at ABC Baby Warehouse comply with the strictest of safety regulations including those above.
